Programme pillars
The Africa Climate Collaborative is contributing to climate resilience and sustainable economic growth across Africa through four pillars of work, with partners approaching each pillar in distinct but complementary ways.
The Africa Climate Collaborative's pillars of work are:
- Workforce Development: Enabling young people to acquire qualifications, leadership skills, and expertise to secure work opportunities in the green economy.
- Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Supporting climate-smart innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystems to create work opportunities and improve climate change responsive capabilities.
- Research and Innovation: Strengthening the capacity of African institutions to develop and deliver interdisciplinary learning and research related to climate resilience and sustainability.
- Networks, Policy and Learning: Catalysing a dynamic ecosystem to build Africa’s thought leadership and influence policy.
More information on the University of Cambridge's work under each of the pillars coming soon.
